Rebecca Grace Van Fraassen

She just started Junior Kindergarten at the same
school as her older sister, Rachel (9) and older brother , Luke (7).
Every day a wheelchair bus picks her up and drops her off. She seems to
be enjoying the whole experience, except for the bus driver's singing.
Rebecca is a bright little girl who loves to swim, play with her Barbies,
read, and play on the computer. She currently uses a manual wheelchair
to get around.
Rebecca can take a few steps with the aid of leg braces and a walker.
Rebecca has SMA Type II. She was diagnosed at twenty months when she
still wasn't walking. Up until that point, she had reached all of her
developmental milestones early or on time.
