Work with school, for one day kids can wear a hat if they pay a loonie

Hits for SMA. Work with a local baseball team and get businesses to sponsor a player and make a donation based on the type of hit. $5 for a single, $10 for double, $15 for a triple and $25 for a home run, and $50 for a grandslam. Base the $ amount on the community size and the size of businesses. Donations will certainly add up throughout the year. Everyone wins, FSMAC gets exposure and donations, businesses gets free advertising, team gets credit for helping community. This fundraiser could apply to any major sporting team like hockey (Goals for SMA), basketball (Hoops for SMA), soccer (Goals for SMA), etc.

Have local celebrities and business leaders serve at local restaurant and have tips donated to FSMAC.

Approach a local skating arena and ask them to donate a couple of hours and sell tickets to attend.
